Adarsh Baraily

Please give a warm welcome to the intrinsically brilliant and enormously talented artist Adarsh Baraily.

At the age of 13, Adarsh started learning to play the guitar in his home town Kalimpong. It is nestled in the lap of the mountains in the state of West Bengal, India where music is much appreciated.

When he started playing the instrument, he immediately fell for it. The strings and the vibrations made him swoon and slowly made up his mind that he had to follow his passion.

Initially he didn’t train in the western classical Genre but was just learning the basics and getting a grip over the instrument.

Then one day his uncle asked him if he was really serious about learning to play the guitar better. He referred him to a good music teacher who would teach Adarsh to read and write musical scores.

And so, Adarsh was lucky that he got the opportunity to learn western classical music from a very renowned teacher. The fun that he initially had started soon faded away. This genre of music was very serious and it helped him grow as a human being. It also helped him to cope better with the harsh realities of life.

In Adarsh’s own words “I would say that music made me a better human.”

During this period as an adolescent, he received the opportunity to perform a few live shows, while continuing with his grades, completing GRADE 8 at the age of 19.

His passion for music allowed Adarsh to work hard, often playing for 7-8 hours in a day. At such a young age Adarsh took a position to teach in a reputed school in Bangalore (state of Karnataka, India). It is difficult to make a career out of music in India so he decided to teach and continuing to develop his skills and talent.

In 2019 he participated in the CALCUTTA CLASSICAL GUITAR FESTIVAL, where he met Guitar legends such as David Russel, a former Grammy winner and learn from Salva Grigoryan,  the Australian classical Guitarist who performs with his brother as Grigoriyan Brothers.

Due to this pandemic, all musicians have been confined to their homes. However, Adarsh has been regularly conducting online classes trying to help his many students. As these times are extremely stressful, he feels that music can be the thing to calm and heal our minds.

As Adarsh says, “I have also been composing a lot of my own original music which I write also in the form of notations. In my Music I try to combine the sounds of various genre and culture and assimilate them to give a western classical outlook.

More than performing, I enjoy making new music hoping that upcoming guitarists will play my music.

In the future I would like to compose more music and share it with the world.

I’m looking forward to record my compositions and share it with everyone. I would require the support and love of everyone to make my music travel the farthest corners.”

We’ll let you enjoy and revel in his talent so you can hear his incredible skills.

Please follow Adarsh, he is a striking talent, that we feel will be heard, loved and enjoyed for many years to come.

Enjoy. We have, and will continue to support Adarsh in his career… and without hesitation we present the humble Adarsh Baraily.
